"I was in Florida to be with my mother as our family celebrated her 96th birthday. I had brought her the rag doll cat as a gift and she absolutely loved it. As soon as she saw it she began kissing it, petting it, and cuddled with it in a way that was so very heartwarming. After I returned back to Denver I got a call from my sister who said we were having a problem with the cat. Apparently my mother was concerned that the cat was not eating! Such is the life of a 96 year old."
