My Father, who spent his career as a New York police detective, was recently admitted to a nursing home in Kentucky with dementia. Jack, his gray tabby cat, could not go with him to the nursing home. It was a difficult move for all of us. Memorable Pets provided him with an adorable plush grey cat to help him adjust to the changes in his life. Dad named his new cat Jack, too. He perked right up when he received his Memorable Pet, and it has helped him tremendously with his transition to the nursing home. I am thankful that a small thing like a Memorable Pet can make such a difference in my father’s quality of life.
